Many people will probably not remember the company named Pro Arts, or what the company did, but no one can forget the famous FARRAH FAWCETT Red Bathing Suit Poster and the fact that it was the most exposed copyright in the history of the world of graphics!

Pro Arts, Inc., also known as "The Poster People," began in 1967 at the beginning of the United States' involvement in the Viet Nam War. As a printer of anti-war posters, Pro Arts grew to be the largest poster company in the world! In 1977, with the printing of the Farrah Fawcett poster, Pro Arts exposure became a worldwide phenomenon! It was even reported that a copy of the poster appeared in a New Deli marketplace in India!

What followed the sale of the Farrah Fawcett poster is a classic example of "over-expansion" prior to a Recession!

Between 1977 and 1979, Pro arts placed over 5,000 permanent poster displays into the retail marketplace! Additionally famous poster personalities surfaced through the Pro Arts marketing machine. Posters such as Cheryl Tiegs, Cheryl Ladd, Jaclyn Smith, Magnum, P.I., Strawberry Shortcake, and Saturday Night Live featuring John Belushi as the Samurai Warrior, Gilda Radner as Roseanne Roseannadana, and Dan Akroyd as the Cone- heads graced the walls of many poster buyers.

Hollywood personalities flocked to Pro Arts' marketing doorstep to have their posters made.

Billy Carter, the President's younger brother, posed for a poster in front of his famous gas station in Plains, Georgia.

Law was being created by Pro Arts in an effort to banish the "right of publicity" after the death of famous people. In 1977, with the death of Elvis Presley, Pro Arts began a crusade to extinguish the "right of publicity after death" that ultimately was won by Pro Arts, only to have Pro Arts lose over $1,500,000 in the process of seeking justice!

With heavy legal fees and an over-expanded company, Pro Arts was forced to file Chapter XI in Federal Bankruptcy Court in Akron, Ohio on December 28, 1981.

It is the involvement of Pro Arts in the present legal system that contributed to its demise. Attorneys, seeking to strip Pro Arts of its assets, systematically conspired during its reorganization from 1982 through December of 1983 to defraud the Bankruptcy Court, Pro Arts legitimate creditors and the author of this book. In the end fifteen new investors as well as the previous owners of Pro Arts, lost millions of dollars.

While this book will occasionally bounce back and forth from the past to the present, you will come to know the "whole truth" about Pro Arts, Inc. and the facts about its bankruptcy that were never disclosed to the public.

The most incredible story is the story of the attorneys that conspired throughout the reorganization of Pro Arts and how while working with supposedly reputable people and a well-established local bank, attorneys openly committed perjury, falsified testimony and doctored documents to mislead the Court and the Creditors WITHOUT FEAR OF CRIMINAL PROSECUTION! When the United States Justice Department was presented with the facts of the frauds, the Justice Department refused to bring a criminal indictment against the bank and the attorneys that helped contribute to the frauds! Why?

Perhaps it is because the legal system protects the legal system! Perhaps it is because large legal offices have clout that the average American does not have! Perhaps it is because the attorneys in the Justice Department do not want to make waves where they might apply for a job after they have left the Justice Department!

Whatever the reason, it defies common sense and understanding. It has always been a misconception that "no one is above the law." Not even the President! Yet, those that use the law, deal in the law, sell the law and even create the law find ways of avoiding the law! The law is an excrement that once utilized by an attorney, is discarded in a toilet and this fecal material, though distasteful to many, is the LEGAL SEWAGE that creates the roughage for our present day justice system.

It is up to the "plumbers" such as myself to examine this legal sewage and to deliver to our "customers" a report that pretty well sets the situation straight. It is up to the "customer", you the reader, to determine if our Justice System is a "lady with a blindfold, yielding a sword and balance scale," or a whore that is used and abused by the very people that get paid to deal in the law.

Throughout this book there will be statements made that are factual and truthful without reservations. There are sub-plots that intertwine with each other and plots that were known to very few. There will be involvements with Mafia individuals that are either presently serving jail sentences or are presently out on parole. The mish-mash of high ranking individuals with attorneys and banking representatives will amaze even the very knowledgeable experts in this area. Sworn depositions by people that knowingly defrauded the federal court system will go unpunished because of the associations some individuals have with local law enforcement agencies.

This book is a factual representation of the material evidence presented to the Court and the Creditors of Pro Arts. You are the Jury. You decide if the lawyers did what this book says they did, or is this book just another cheap shot at our present legal system and deserving of the very toilet it exposes. The real names of the individuals are used since there was no need to protect the innocent. All individuals that feel that they have been slandered or libeled can sue the author without hesitation.
